YOU CAN KNOW THE MOVES
That doesn’t mean you’re executing them consistently.
THE PROBLEM
You know when a shot feels pretty good.
The movement seems smooth. The exposure looks right. The edit works. Maybe you’ve even been paid for it.
But none of that answers the harder question:
How good is the work, actually?
And if it isn’t where you want it to be... what’s holding it back?
YOU CAN KNOW THE MOVES
That doesn’t mean you’re executing them consistently.
YOU CAN KNOW THE SETTINGS
That doesn’t mean your image is controlled.
YOU CAN HAVE CLIENTS
That doesn’t establish the quality of your work.
YOU CAN HAVE EXPERIENCE
That doesn’t guarantee you’re still improving.
WHY THE CREATIVE PERSPECTIVE
I built The Creative Perspective because there is no shortage of drone education showing pilots what to do.
What’s much harder to find is someone showing you where your own work falls short, why it falls short, and what actually needs to change.
The goal isn’t to create more drone pilots.
There are already plenty of those.
THE WORK
The Creative Perspective is built around the standards behind intentional commercial creative execution, not simply whether a drone can capture a usable shot.
INTRODUCING
This isn’t another library of drone tutorials.
It’s a six-week development experience built around your work.
You’ll establish where your skills currently stand, identify the gaps limiting your execution, deliberately develop those areas, and produce again six weeks later to measure what changed.
Produce a finished piece that shows how you currently fly, frame, capture, and edit, before the development work begins.
Your assessment points to what deserves attention. Training, critique, diagnosis, and deliberate practice target those specific gaps.
Produce again and have the work reassessed against the same four pillars so you can see what actually changed.
YOUR WORK. MEASURED.
Your work is evaluated across four core areas:
FLIGHT
Control · Precision · Coordination · Sustained Execution · Repeatability
COMPOSITION
Subject · Perspective · Balance · Depth · Movement · Visual Intention
IMAGE
Exposure · Motion · White Balance · Correction · Grade · Consistency
EDIT
Selection · Sequence · Pacing · Continuity · Restraint · Finish
Your work isn’t evaluated on whether somebody thinks it looks “cool.”
The Creative Pilot Rating Framework creates a consistent way to assess the work across Flight, Composition, Image, and Edit, so feedback can become more useful than “Nice shot,” “Make it smoother,” or “Try slowing that down.”
The goal is to identify what is actually limiting the work, where the breakdown is happening, and what deserves your attention next.
SAMPLE ASSESSMENT
CREATIVE PILOT SCORE
A pilot can fly for years while the same subtle weaknesses continue showing up in the work.
The problem isn’t necessarily effort. The problem is that nobody ever identified the weakness clearly enough for the pilot to deliberately change it.
When you can see the gap, you can work on it deliberately. When you can measure the result, you know whether you actually closed it.
THE DEVELOPMENT EXPERIENCE
Establish your baseline.
Find the blind spots.
Know where you stand.
You produce first. Then we evaluate. The goal is to establish an honest picture of your current ability and identify the areas that deserve attention.
Turn awareness into deliberate improvement.
Develop the control, creative judgment, and production decisions behind stronger drone work. Learn to recognize when execution is breaking down, and what to change when it does.
Produce again.
Reassess.
Compare.
Put everything back into the work. Then evaluate it against the same four pillars.
WHO THIS IS FOR
THE DEVELOPING COMMERCIAL PILOT
You understand your aircraft and the fundamentals, but know your execution isn’t where you want it yet.
THE SELF-TAUGHT PILOT
You’ve learned through tutorials, experience, experimentation, and repetition, but you’ve never had your work properly evaluated.
THE WORKING PILOT
You’re already being paid but want to understand how your work actually holds up against a defined creative standard.
THE PLATEAUED PILOT
You’ve accumulated flight time but aren’t sure whether you’re still meaningfully improving.
THIS IS NOT
Beginner flight school · Part 107 preparation · Business coaching · Client-acquisition training · Mapping or inspection training · Gear-review content · FPV training · Another “5 cinematic drone moves” course.
DEVELOP THE SKILL
Move beyond understanding individual controls and develop the coordination, tracking relationships, sustained execution, and repeatability required to control the shot.
Learn to recognize where execution breaks down, why it’s happening, and what deserves your attention next.
Move beyond collecting drone moves and start making intentional decisions around subject, objective, perspective, composition, movement, and resolution.
Learn what happens after the drone lands: image, shot selection, sequencing, pacing, continuity, restraint, and the decisions that separate good footage from strong finished work.
THE FOUNDING COHORT
PERSONAL BASELINE ASSESSMENT
Your starting work personally evaluated across Flight, Composition, Image, and Edit.
3 CORE TRAINING SESSIONS
Control the Camera.
Design the Shot.
Build the Finished Work.
LIVE CRITIQUE + DIAGNOSIS
Real footage. Specific breakdowns. Actionable feedback you can use.
PRIVATE COHORT COMMUNITY
Post work, ask questions, share attempts, and learn from feedback across the group.
TARGETED PRACTICE ASSIGNMENTS
Focused work designed to apply the training and deliberately develop the gaps we identify.
PERSONAL FINAL ASSESSMENT
Your final work reassessed against the same four pillars, with a Week 1 → Week 6 development comparison.

ABOUT YOUR INSTRUCTOR
I spent years learning what professional creative execution actually looks like, and somewhere along the way, I realized how many drone pilots are stuck at “good enough” simply because nobody has ever given them a clear standard to measure themselves against.
There’s no shortage of information showing you which settings to use, which moves to try, or which gear to buy.
What’s much harder to find is someone showing you where your own work falls short, why it falls short, and what actually needs to change.
That’s why I built The Creative Perspective.
Not to create more drone pilots. There are already plenty of those.
I want to help create more capable, intentional commercial creators who can evaluate their own work, recognize the gaps in their execution, and deliberately develop the skills required to produce at a higher level.
And there’s a bigger goal behind it.
I want the people buying commercial drone work to understand what they should expect, too.
Because raising the capability of creators is only one side of raising the standard.
The market has to learn to recognize the difference.
FOUNDING COHORT
I’m deliberately keeping the founding cohort small.
Not because “limited spots” looks good on a landing page.
Because every pilot in this first cohort will have their work personally evaluated at the beginning and again at the end.
At 15 pilots, that means up to:
That’s the capacity for this first cohort. I’m not going to personally assess an unlimited number of pilots. I want enough room to understand the starting work, see what develops, and evaluate the final work with the same level of attention.
I also want to learn from the first group: what changes, where pilots struggle, what works, and what needs refinement.
